MIL-Spec compression springs or MIL-STD springs are compression with loads under 20 lbs. They are standardized by the US Department of Defense and used in many industries. Murphy and Read manufactures to the current standards AS24585 and MS24585. All of our MIL springs are DFARS compliant and manufactured in the USA.
MIL-SPEC part numbers all begin with MS24585 followed by a dash to indicate the dimensions and material. For example, MS24585-C10
